The Cathedral Choir, Treble Choir, High School Choir and Gregorian chant Schola are looking for enthusiastic parishioners interested in participating in worship at Mass and other services.
The Cathedral Choir welcomes all voice types (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass). We rehearse Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm, and sing at the 11:15 am Mass on Sundays. Some experience singing in a choir and the ability to read music are helpful. To arrange a meeting, please contact Mr. Edmund Murray at [email protected].
The Treble Choir rehearses on Tuesday afternoons from 4:15 to 6:15 pm. The choir will sing approximately once a month on Sunday mornings and for various events during the year. Please see the Treble Choir tab for more information.
The High School Choir for The Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham is a growing group of enthusiastic teenagers. The Choir meets at the end of the "Holy House Academy" day, from 4:30-5:30 pm on Wednesday afternoons and is open to students of Holy House as well as other high school students in the parish. Registration is coordinated through Holy House Academy. For more information, email Mr. Edmund Murray at [email protected].
The Gregorian Chant Schola prayerfully studies the Gregorian melodies found in the Roman Gradual. We chant for Mass on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am and current membership determines our weekly rehearsal schedule. No prior experience is necessary.
If you are interested in joining any of these music programs, please email Mr. Edmund Murray at [email protected], or Mrs. Chalon Murray at [email protected].
