CONFIRMATION:
Confirmation Preparation is a one-year program for our youth, typically at 11-12 years of age; however, we are happy to offer the sacrament as early as the age of reason and in the restored order of initiation if parents, as the primary catechists, discern that their child is ready.

In order to receive Confirmation at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham, the family must be registered members of the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter or else have a signed letter from the Pastor of their home parish giving his permission for the child to receive catechetical preparation and the Sacrament at this parish.

There are six classes, along with guidance for ongoing catechesis and discussion in the home. Classes begin in September, and are held once a month on Saturdays. Regular attendance at Sunday Mass and Sunday School is expected. Confirmations are typically on Pentecost.
