Venerable Father Jacques Sevin, SJ

O LORD, a hundred years ago, thou didst call Father Jacques Sevin to found within the Scouting Movement a way of life to lead young people to holiness. Today, as we follow his example and implore his intercession, we do humbly beseech thee, make us to be devoted, honest, and courageous men and women.
May the shining example of the new knighthood, which he envisioned, lead us to give ourselves to thy greater service. Through the intercession of Venerable Father Sevin, O Lord, help us to be pathfinders for all mankind, and to live as saints in the world. Amen.

The Federation of North-American Explorers (www.fneexplorers.org) is a volunteer Catholic Faith-based Movement creating a new generation of ordinary saints through a well-established program of outdoor adventure. Through our home association, the UIGSE-FSE (Union Internationale des Guides et Scouts d'Europe - Fédération du Scoutisme Européen), we are formally recognized by the Holy See as a Pontifical Association of the Lay Faithful.  
 

St. Joseph, Pillar of Families F.N.E. Group is the first Federation of North-American Explorers unit in Houston. We currently have active Timber Wolf Dens for 8-12 year olds (Boys & Girls separate units), and an Otter Lodge for 5-7 year olds (Boys & Girls together). We look forward to starting our Explorer Troop (Boys) and Company (Girls) for 12-17 year olds soon!
